Notes I did it again. I like this pattern, although it is challenging to sew depending on the fabric choice. A stretchy knit is easier than an inelastic softshell.
Again, this required patience and a few inches breaks with e.g. the main pockets and the hood. I took the front part completely apart once and luckily I was able to order more of the same fabric even though I had already bought it at least a year and a half ago. I posted a picture of the failed front end. I had added a support fabric to it, here it was not a good idea. Fusible Interfacing cannot be steam ironed. (Any tips?).
The fabric holds some water, but it can hardly last without getting wet in the pouring rain. The fabric is quite light, the weight is only 200 g/m2.
I added a lining fabric even though the inner surface of the main fabric has a coolmax surface. It is easier to sew inner pockets to lining fabric.
The hood can also be conveniently hidden in the stand-up collar.
