Notizen First time sewing a Lekala pattern for My Love.
I am very impressed with this free pattern. My husband has very wide shoulders, not overly long arms, long body and a rather 'portly' tummy.
The high black yoke gives extra ease. The body length is good, the collar is excellent. The arms are a wee bit too long....absolutely fine for a dress shirt but possibly a bit long for work.

I sewed with a double yoke and as my fabric was very fine (pick-a-pick cotton) I interfaced the front self facings, both pieces of the collar, collar stand, cuffs and top of pocket.
I finished with a narrow, double hem.

    Your workmanship looks very professional. I might have to try this pattern for my husband. Like yours, 'the old man' has a little bit of a belly. LOL. I would probably make it as s short sleeve.
