| Notes | I will post better photos soon but I just had to share. This pattern is gorgeous. The fit is perfect, straight away, no adjustments. I used a fine, silky lawn. I did make a double yoke as I prefer those and sewed it with the 'Burrito' method. I didn't realise the cuff should have been CUT 4 as it says 1/1 so my cuffs are not as deep as suggested but it still works. (The big cuffs would look rather fabulous though) I edge stitched the pleats to make ironing a bit easier. The only struggle I had was the sleeve placket, I ended up with a wee raw edge on the inside (I will get a piccie of that) I covered it with a wee square of interfacing bit it does bother me a little. Bravo Lekala, this one is lush! |
