Notizen thanks for all positive feedback -
Yes, I am pleased with the coat - I adjusted the sleeve width (which is almost always to narrow) and made some minor other adjustments.
It was not difficult to sew, but a lot of different parts which I numbered on beforehand to keep track.
As usual the description is lacking and one needs to figure things out yourselves - but hey: all went fine!

    Wow. What a masterpiece. Congratulations. It's winter here in Australia for another 3 weeks or so so I'm going to have a go at making it - if I can find some decent fabric. It looks lovely and casual and very, very smart.
