Notes This is a denim jacket with zip. Lovely pattern, pleats at the front, size of 5mm pin-tucks add a feature. zip, front facing, waistband, sits just below the waist. Made in medium stretch denim, to match the sleeveless dress i made last week. Same fabric and top stitching thread. Snaps at cuffs and the collar. the pieces fitted together well. I used a placket for the sleeve opening. Will make more of these. A few things to get better at include the waistband. Should have followed the instruction a bit better.

    Yes, I think the illustration is very misleading but the line drawing is accurate, I don't see how you could make the colour blocking look like that!

    Strange that the coloured illustration appears to be completely different to the diagram, your version is definitely nicer!
