笔记 I used this pattern but with alterations :
I erased horizontal seam under the breasts, I removed 3 larger gathers, and I replaced it by 6 or 7 smaller ones 3,5 cm gathered each and they go in the directions of breasts, waist and hip as well.
Fabric: peach color floral lace with elasthan, and very lightweight viscose Jersey. very little stretchy ( t-shirt fabric) stone color for interlining.
Invisible zipper
I sew 2 layers as 1, and I use satin bias tape to finish sleeves and armholes, I used facing for neckline , I finished seams with serger. I hemmed by hand.
Pattern is Perfect except the front piece which is for some reason at the waist was almost 10 cm too large! While back piece was perfect. So I had to take in from the front panel only... strange... but number printed on the pattern was correct in terms of measurements, I have no idea what went wrong there...
Otherwise perfect

It really is a shame that you have to change a lot because usually the Lekala patterns are well adjusted to your body measurements. So I understand it will be quite a job for me. Thank you again for your response but you did a great job.

Thank you for explaining how you achieved this great shape, this looks to be really well fitted (and very flattering!) A lovely dress!

This dress is beautiful, suits you very well. And I like the two colours together.

Hello Tannie, thank you! I had to completely redo the pleats. Indeed there looked big and bulky and I thought the directions and position was not flattering. They looked ok but not flattering. I wanted pretty pleats. Si i closed all 3 pleats from pattern and I drawn many new ones in sunrises directions. I opened each to about 3-4 cms. And I like this better.

Has become a beautiful dress but have a question for you. Was it clear to you where the tail pleats had to go? I also have this pattern but had the idea that the pleats should fall down.
