| 笔记 | I adore this style of coat. The sparse instructions were a bit of a puzzle at times as it's only my second Lekala project and I am used to having photos in patterns too, but I managed through it in the end. It was a bit confusing sometimes, as pattern peice names don't match up in the instructions all the time. I used Boucle suiting fabric for the outer and Bemsilk lining fabric. I did alter the sleeve length to full length. I received lots of comments when I wore it. It stands out as a one off peice and many thought that it was couture or boutique branded. I wouldn't recommend this to beginners as it assumes you have a working knowledge of many sewing skills, though you can Google them, but it would be a big struggle I believe. I probably wouldn't make again, but only becuase it is such a statement peice. |
