| Notes | I like sewing coats and jackets but this was a nightmare. I do not remember, how long I made it, but very long. I even forgot to take a picture of it. The fabric is cotton gabardene, too soft, but still, I decided to use it. Everything seemed to fit ill, from princess seam to arm holes. I didnt like as the rain protection in back is loose, so I changed that. Then also the collar to look more clasical, what gave me only a headache :) I changed the pockets, now I have no idea why.. :) Anyway, it fits me quite will, only need to find some belt. I havent wear it yet, the sewing was too tiring, I guess you all know the feeling. I want to make another, good one, with all the pockets, front rain protection as well, nicer sleeves, perfectly quilted parts.. I will know better next time. |
