Notas I love this pattern. It is so comfortable.

I bought the fabric, a cotton Ikat, in Bali on a holiday about 30 years ago and it has been sitting in the drawer ever since. I think it is perfect for this pattern. Very casual and cool.
I would like to make it in linen next time. And maybe even in a light wool. Once I got my head around the placket it was a very simple dress to make.

I think the Lekala patterns are fantastic because I don't have to keep altering the patterns to make them fit me. When I order my patterns now I add a couple of centimetres extra around the waist and hips for a bit more ease and they fit me perfectly.
