Note Another modification of the pattern, now I finished the neckless and sleeves only with a bias tape. I made the blouse also shorter as I want to wear it with a skirt.
The walking foot is just perfert for silk, I left it in my maschine after working with wool - and had no trouble to sew.
All seems are french ones, on sleeve heads as well.

    What a great idea, the bias tape finish is a really clever touch - looks completely different to the original. This looks very elegant, a demonstration of patience and skill sewing French seams on silk.
