Notes This fits closely at the shoulders, and has narrow sleeves, but is VERY flared to the lower edge. This makes the “side view” rather unflattering and tent-like. Great for hot weather, as the lower part is very swingy and "well-ventilated".

Fabric is 2 different Liberty cotton lawn fabrics, the inner front used a smallish piece left over from another project, dress 5404, which I made a few years ago. This piece should go all the way up to the shoulder seams, but there was not enough fabric, so I cut it about 3 cm shorter - a great use for a piece that may otherwise have been scrap. I always feel pleased when I can use up every bit of my lovely fabric!

Not sure if I would wear this out in public, as I would feel self-conscious about the side view, but it should be great for doing the gardening....

    Go with the flow. Wear it with flair and if anyone questions, tell them it's lagenlook. :-) it would be if you wore a midiskirt and a pair of baggy ruffled pants.

    It is indeed a very spacious model, but the fabric with the paisly motif is beautiful. Simply putting on wher you want to go is nothing wrong with a spacious blouse!
