笔记 My first LeKala project. I'm very happy with my project. Fits perfectly and I love the criss cross neckline detail. Made from Cotton slub (like linen) fabric. Very organic, but wrinkly.

Notes for myself: For my next dress, I will add a little more seam allowance to the zipper seam. Add 7 inches to the hemline for a better length. Pairs with a simple belt and jean jacket. I found the two step sewing of the armholes a bit difficult. Under stitching the facing was only possible on part of the armhole. There has to be an easier way. i did not make button loops or add buttons. With my cotton slub fabric I could not achieve very narrow loops. I will make another 4611 dress with less wrinkly fabric.

    Gail, it looks like you did an excellent job on construction. Wrinkly is the very reason I avoid linen and linen-like fabric. Getting a perfect fit is what I like most about Lekala. I've made one dress from Lekala and was so happy with how it fit. I bought some other patterns from them, and am in the process of making them up. I have many patterns on my wish list, too. Looking forward to seeing more finished garments from you.
