Notes I am delighted with this project. The design is really lovely and the amount of pattern ease is perfect - it skims very nicely over my figure, not too tight and not too loose, which is both flattering and comfortable.

The finished garment is on the edge between a shirt and a jacket, because I made it in a medium-weight Irish linen, which is a tiny bit on the heavy and stiff side, but it will soften with wash and wear. I interfaced the collar and placket only, with silk organza. If I make this pattern again, I would consider using a lighter-weight linen like ramie, or a linen/cotton blend.

I only made one adjustment to the fit, which was to tweak the bust dart to get rid of a little bit of excess fabric in the armpit area. As a result, the dart point is a bit longer than customary, but nobody will notice in the dark fabric.

One of my favourite Lekala patterns so far.

So good to see a pattern made up. Love to see it on a real body.

Oh! This is so nice. I think it looks like an elegant artist's shirt. (without the spots of paint, of course!)

Looks really nice, but I agree with Anne - we need to see it being "modelled"!!!

Very nice. I'd love to see it worn to figure out if the fit would work for me.
