| Notes | This is the first Lekala pattern I've ever made, and I am SO IMPRESSED with the FIT! I did make a few design changes to better suit the look I wanted to achieve: > I changed the shape of the neckline, and drafted neckline facings. > I pegged the hem, and added a pleated detail at the bottom, using this tip with cardboard to ensure consistent knife pleats. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eiJHH8r00j8 Because the fabric was somewhat thick, instead of doubling it for the pleated trim I just did a rolled hem with the rolled hem foot. > I used an invisible zipper. This is the easiest well-fitting dress I've ever made! |
