| 笔记 | I love the style and look. I've been wanting a classic raincoat for some time, and the ruffles on the back suit me even more. Also love the custom sizing, it fit perfectly Dislike - as mentioned previously, the instructions. Fabric Used: A black brushed cotton twill found at walmart for $1.50 a yard. Such a steal. Feels and drapes great. Not sure about the cotton content, as it was in the bargain bin which are never marked. Pattern alterations or any design changes made: Added an extra ruffle at the back. Did double welt instead of single welt pockets. Buttonholes are bound buttonholes. Took about an inch off of the width of the sleeve belts (so wide!!!), made them shorter, pointed one end, and the other end sewn into the back seam of the sleeve. Would I sew it again? Would I recommend it to others? Yes! Now that I know what I'm doing with the pattern (mostly). I want to do one in red, without the ruffles, but have a large bow in the back and add epaulettes to the shoulder. |
