Notes Fabric: Burberry like checked dress cotton with Lycra Alterations: I use this pattern without the decorative front . I cut upper and lower parts in one piece.
Wider boat neck, added simple short sleeves and stand collar. I added breast darts .
Integral facing, no lining.
Inner seams and gems finished with zigzag plus bias tape because they frayed too much.

    Well done with the pattern matching, the alignment of the stripes/checks really accentuates the shaping in this dress. I like the bias collar too.
