Notas I finished this hoodie up on March 9th. I’m still not sure if I like it or not. I like some parts, do not care for others. This is my first Lekala sew.
reduced the hood by 3” in height. I added pockets to the front because no hoodie should be without pockets! To do this I just cut another front pouch section, top-stitched the sides down and sewed it like normal with the other piece. Also, the bottom hem band was enormously tall. I shortened the height by almost half.

Ok I didn't know I could edit my review. So I added comments below but I will put them here also.
It is now Jan 2026, 8 years after first making this hoodie. I still have it in my closet and wear it so that speaks for itself!
Back when I first made it I wasn't so sure about it. Well its been awhile now and I find I do wear it often. I love that the zipper is offset and has a nice, not typical hoodie look. Its a fun piece and I do like the final result.

This pattern is on my sewing list. I was disappointed to realize it did not have pockets so thank you for the tip on how to include a pocket on the front. Yours looks great.

I think you look fabulous. I made this for Elsa, and then I inherited it and now Liddy is wearing it. It is a quirky look but we love it!

Nice job, I agree with you about the pockets (in fact, no outer garment should be without pockets!) Your contrast fabrics look really good together :)
I could not make this one without altering the zipper position as I have an aversion to asymmetry :(
