| Notes | My first Lekala pattern! Love it! Inspired by the color blocked blazers that were all over Pinterest last year. I like the color blocking trend for using up remnants and scraps like in this jacket-it was a muslin that is ridiculously wearable! Enough that I actually haven't made the intended final blazer yet. I wear this with RTW maroon trousers or a thrifted handmade navy pencil skirt. When styled it can look 40's, 50's, 70's or modern business depending on the combination. The maroon is a polyester stretch suiting with 15% stretch, the navy is a polyester woven suiting with absolutely no give. |
