I finished this blouse just in time to wear it on my birthday. I did make a few changes. I found it to be very loose at the waist, so I took it in about 4 inches to be more fitted. For the lace part, I cut out identical pieces of lace and fabric and sewed them together before inserting them into the blouse so that the lace would have a backing. I finished the bottom edge with bias tape instead of the fabric piece that it calls for, because I decided I liked the length it had, and also I thought it would match nicely with the trim on the ruffles and armscyes. I also used two more buttons than it called for. I really like the way it turned out. This may easily become my new favorite!
