Notes | I made this dress to go to a friend's thesis... Among other semi-formal occasions. I used a light wool material, and Bemberg lining. I lined it all, and left the facings inside the dress, it's pretty :) I made a mistake while sewing the necklines, they got a bit enlarged. The pattern is good except for the straps that are too small to my taste : your bra strap would show, and also it is very hard to turn it inside out. Also, there is no front seam. |

Thank you for your nice comments !
@Maria I did not change the length of the sleeves, maybe I have smaller arms, I don't know... But as I said, the drawing is not very true to the pattern, like the front seam that is not there! -

Really nice result, this looks very elegant - and just right for a formal occasion.
I notice your sleeves are a little longer than the illustration (just below, rather than above, the elbow). Did the pattern arrive this way, or did you lengthen the sleeves? I much prefer your version! -

You look absolutely lovely. The dress fits perfect, the color is perfect, you did a wonderful job!

Despite the issues, your dress looks fabulous on you. The way the top is shown as a separate piece makes the dress au courant. This is a winner. -

A very nice dress which fits perfect to you. Beautiful colour! The pattern is already on my wishlist and I‘m happy to see that it‘s a real deux-piece. Great!
