Notes This shirt nearly every up being a UFO. An ironing accident because I didn't read the label for the fabric. Apart from that this shirt went together nicely. Fits well as most Lekala patterns I've tried do. Wonder whether I need to adjust for a sway back? When I look at the photos of most of my snug fitting tops, I seem to have extra fabric in the small of my back.
The darts in the front make for a slightly fiddly sew. In a plain fabric you would topstitch as suggested, but with this fussy print, I decided not to.

Update 11/9/17: I find this shirt to be one for keeping arms by side. I wore it to work and every time I lifted my arms to do something at shoulder height, I had to pull it back down so it would sit properly. The front top facing tends to ride up and open up when you lift your arms. I might do a photo so you see what I mean. Probably needs sleeves with more ease for work.

1/11/17:
For this shirt to be "work safe", the pattern needs to be either less snug fitting in the body or the sleeves need to be less tailored and more like a men's shirt. If you keep it snug the arm scythe needs to be higher under the arm and the sleeve head less high. Please see http://www.threadsmagazine.com/2016/01/25/video-how-to-modify-sleeves-for-better-arm-mobility
for some ideas on how to change the sleeve so you can lift your arms in the blouse without having to pull the shirt back down afterwards.

thanks for replying Shelagh, the fit was good everywhere but the sleeves we're way too tight all over
    My arms are quite thin

Love your fabric - nice job.

Hi xchristin, No I found the sleeves to fit easily in this pattern. I assume you mean fitting the sleeve head to bodice? I did the usual ease stitch from mark to mark gathered slightly and it sewed together well.

Sewing this shirt but sleeve pattern way too small
    Did you have this problem

    Hello Shelagh,
I also had this problem, and made a horizontal stitch in the back, thus removing the excess substance. This is not a lot of work but you will be happy with the result.
Try riding this first and then see if the backing is nice.
    Success!
The fabric and the blouse are nice.
