    Thank you for the heads up on fabric choice. A ponte or a stretch sateen might be the go.

    I used non-stretch silk like fabric - but it eventually appeared to be a bad choice - it needs stretchy (even if a little bit) fabric as my dress got destroyed by sitting. It splitted in seams. So I had to cut it and now I have a top out of this pretty dress. But I would sew it derfinitely again from some nice cosy fabric, wonderful pattern.
