Also the fake leather that I've purchased is very thin and I'm really nervous about how it will turn out and if the collar will need to be stabilised.

Not so sure about the lenght of the jacket but adding length to so many pattern pieces seems so difficult. Maybe I'll double the height of the cufffs / lower panels or maybe I'll just sew it as it is and see what happens. Also I don't know the length of the zipper that I need to order.
