Notes Quick and easy to make.
The extended shoulders optically widen the top, which balances my narrow shoulders with my much wider hips.
This took 1.2m of 1.4m wide cotton lawn.
I liked the effect of cutting the side sections on the cross grain, and the way the stripes angle on the collar.
I used the button placements given on the pattern, but feel that it would have been better with more buttons/less spacing as this placement is likely to "gape".

Update - I have made this LOTS of times, one of my favourite tops!

    I have made another one of these, but using 7 buttons (instead of 6) which has given a much better result - the 6 button version does not fasten in the correct place for me. I spaced the buttons 6cm apart and this worked well.
