笔记 I love the lines of this skirt. The pleating and curved seams on the front add interest, and the curve of the back waistband is lovely. I also love the back vent for walking ease. This was a straightforward construction, although I complicated things by adding a lining. (I always add a lining, even when it is orange!)

The Montreal suiting was purchased from Sawyer Brook in 2014, and I had been searching for that elusive pattern to match its beauty. I found it in this skirt! I am very pleased with the result and wear it frequently.

    Thank you, Shelagh! The lining is the last of a large amount of orange I had, earmarked for other projects that never came to pass. It works well with browns, and that is where much of it ended up!
