Notes This pattern positively calls for some sort of linear design. The photo does not do the fabric justice as there is a sparkly line through the stripes.
24/12-27/12/16: The pattern went together very well. The instructions are good for this pattern including a link to a video explaining how to line the bodice.
I basted the pleats closed 1/4 of the way. After I attached the skirt to the bodice, I took out the basting for the front of the dress, but I'm not sure I like it without the stitching. I might just redo the stitching again as I think it looks better. Perhaps as the fabric is seersucker the pleats will not sit well without part of the pleats being stitched, but the skirt has a nice swing to it.
