Notes I decided that this style would not flatter my figure. My bust is too large for the gathers to look nice - as you can see in the picture I had to pin out a dart to get a proper shape. The gather details in the waist seam are also too low to flatter, although I could probably fix this by increasing the slant of the waist. I decided not to as I would have to lower the neckline and fix the twist on the sleeves as well. I think this is a style for a slender figure, not mine. The fabric in the picture is a polyester ponte.

    Hello, have you finished this dress? I think it looks good on you, I would move the darts a bit towards the center and give them a direction of the bust so it would look wonderful on your figure. In case you finished it i would be interested to see a picture

    The gathers at the top I think just need to be moved.

    I think it would fit more like you want or think it should if you moved the gathers over toward the center a little more.. I think the style looks good on you.
