| ノート | Very fast to make, comfortable and cool to wear. I find I prefer to wear this with the tie fastening on the right side (which is "back to front" as designed), this gives the double layer of fabric at the back, preventing the light from shining through and making the back a bit more "see through". The smaller section of overlap is then at the front, which is sufficient to prevent any see through there. Takes quite a lot of fabric, but a lovely shape and very easy to construct using a rolled hem foot on the machine. Fabric is a Liberty cotton Tana Lawn, pattern called Amelia Star, a grey background with flowers and stars in blue/grey/brownish tones. |
