|Notes||Fabric - Liberty Tana Lawn "Tiers of Light" (pattern of leaves with sunlight shining through them), lined with plain white cotton. I decided to cut the lining shorter, as an underskirt, rather than have the shorter skirt layer on the outside. The outer skirt hem was faced with a 12cm facing to add a little weight. Very pleased with this dress, the fit is an excellent close fit and it is really comfortable.
Just a point on the construction - the way the skirt is cut, in one piece, means that the centre back seam has one side on straight grain, the other on the bias = some easing required to fit together.
