|Name||Dress w/ pleated neckline|
|Started||Sep 6, 2015|
|Notes||This dress's name and technical illustration are both somewhat misleading.
The neckline darts are actually open-ended darts, which have the effect of pleats, and the technical illustration shows no trace of the fisheye darts on the two back pieces, each side of the CB zip.
The darts in the back make the dress more fitted than you might imagine (or want!) but it would be easy to leave them out if you didn't want them.
Depending on your size and proportions, you may well not need a full-length back zip; I certainly do not - a small slit at back neck with a button and loop is more than sufficient. Nearly finished - this will be a pleasant, easy-to-wear dress which I wish I'd made in time for the summer!
