ノート	Made in a rather thick piece of Crêpe Georgette, which I got free of charge from a friend of a friend. Just not enough for a collar, therefor I used a piece of leftover satin, which had exactly the right color I imagined. I even makes the model shine some more. In fact, this is an easy model. As usual a facing was not included in the pattern, and with rather heavier fabrics this doesn’t work. So I made a back-facing in 2 parts, and made the back of the buttonpad higher so it did form kind of a back-facing, as there was no more fabric left to do this from the start. The buttonpads are real and have fusible interfacing, for the first time in all of my sewing I chose not to make buttonholes, but did sew the buttons directly on the blouse. The back facing of the armscyes are done with stretch bias. At the end I was just left with some tiny scraps. (My mother always told me that one has to be modest, be happy with what is given to you, and make the most of that. A very wise lesson, which I still practice today.) The skirt at the pix: Lekala 3031 Skirt with buttons (from another Lekala set, so the color of the satin is some different).
