Notes	Last of the summer wine… Set 1. Hoping for a last warm period to wear the set before the leaves fall dawn and autumn arrives. I bought the pattern to make a cardigan. Made in seersucker and satin. It is now used to make a vest of some remnant fabric. To give it some ‘cachet’ I switched the ‘fringe’ part partially to satin. The fluo buttons to highlight this. Of the pattern I did skip the sleeves (due to shortage of fabric). Made bound pockets. The vest is fully lined with a pleat at the center back. The trousers are: Mc Call’s M8223 (without inset, the hem all hand sewn). It’s my favourite pants, already made 8x.
