| 笔记 | I gained some left-over fabric, and to maximize this as much as possible, I made a maxi skirt, a waistcoat, and this jacket. I came across this ‘Leather jacket’, ‘kind-of-a-moto-jacket’, but decided that - if I would sprinkle some ‘magic dust’ over it- I could transform it to a ‘kind-of-a-vintage-Dior-jacket’. (Yes indeed, I do not belong to the faint-hearted, but I am kind of a ‘style Maverick’). I could see it would work with my bouclé fabric. The shoulders and inset of the sleeves are bouclé, the rest of the jacket is Terlenka (of this fabric I got 50 meters for 10 euro in a sale). I made bound pockets with a zipper. The jacket is fully lined (3 euro per meter), elas, it was very difficult to work with, as barely a needle got trough it, but hey, win some - loose some… I made the jacket as the pattern was, and did not alter any. Very happy with how it turned out! The pattern of the skirt: Lekala 4877 High waist skirt. |
