Notes I shortened the dress into a top. Lengthened the sleeves a bit as usual, and changed the grainline direction of the front pieces so that the stripes are parallel to the collar. I like the pattern it makes in the center front. It's more interesting and more flattering than a simple horizontal stripe. But this will be harder to do in the dress version because it will waste a lot of fabric. I also cut the back on fold since I didn't think a top needed as much shaping as a dress.

The fabric is a sweater knit (probably polyester/lycra). The fit is great. I'm very happy with it.

Thank you, JdT. There's no closure; it's just a pullover so you need fabric with a decent amount of stretch. That said, the original version as drafted has a center-back seam so you can easily put a zipper in there if your fabric is not stretchy enough.
