Notizen shorts – Sewing Pattern S2008

Once again, LEKALA has absolutely delivered for me.

For years, buying shorts patterns was frustrating. If I chose a size to fit my waist, they were enormous through the hips. If I tried to size for my hips, the waist simply wouldn’t fit. With my larger waist and much smaller hips, standard patterns just never worked — and I was tired of constant alterations and disappointment.

Pattern S2008 has changed that completely.

Because it was made to my measurements, these shorts fit me properly straight away. The waist fits comfortably, the hips aren’t baggy, and the overall shape feels balanced and flattering. For the first time, I have a pair of shorts that I feel truly comfortable wearing.

There is something so freeing about sewing a garment and knowing it will fit your body — not a generic size chart. LEKALA makes that possible, and I’m genuinely grateful. Thank you for designing patterns that respect real proportions and give home sewists confidence again.

I couldn’t be happier with this pattern.
I didn't feel like doing side pockets, because I was in a hurry to sew them up, then decided to sew a side and back pocket on the outside later on.

    Broeken.....praat mij er niet van meestal was het bij mij ook een ramp. Nu ook een patroon gevonden dat perfect zit en vind het fijn dat het bij u nu ook gelukt is een goed passend patroon te hebben. Maak er in vele kleuren want de zomer komt er aan :)
