Ordering patterns made to my own measurements has been an absolute revelation for me. For the first time in my sewing life, I can start a project knowing — with confidence and relief — that it’s actually going to fit me. Before LEKALA, I bought paper patterns, spent time sewing them up, only to find they didn’t fit me anywhere. I’d then have to alter them, get discouraged, waste money on patterns and fabric, and often never wear the finished garment. It was so disheartening that I ended up spending most of my life sewing for children instead — simply because standard patterns fit them. Now, thanks to LEKALA, I finally have clothes that fit me. Clothes that are comfortable, flattering, and bring me genuine joy to wear. These pyjama pants are quite honestly the most comfortable pyjamas I have ever owned. They fit beautifully, feel wonderful, and make me smile every time I put them on. Thank you, LEKALA, for giving me back the pleasure of sewing for myself. I am truly grateful. I made some short ones too. They were my first attempt now I have to make a top to match for my new set. |
