| Notes | My daughter needed a "Glinda"dress, at short notice, for a ball! It was over the Christmas holidays so I didn't have access to my usual sewing supplies for an invisible zip. The bodice was very trixy to make and the pleat would not stay in the silky fabric I used. I added 3 layers of organza, hemmed with horsehair braid to get the Glinda vibe and that worked well. I wasn't able to do a fitting on my daughter so sent a big organza sash with it, to help with any fitting issues. Daughter and dance partner were very pleased with the dress! She loves wearing it! The skirt is very swishy and has a lot of movement. |
