| 笔记 | I wanted to make a cozy dress for cool weather so I eliminated the keyhole by raising the inner neckline. I also lengthened and added flare to the skirt. I used double-brush polyester/lycra knit. It's very comfortable! There's a drafting issue with the sleeves. The front notch doesn't match but that was easy to fix. They're also too short even though I choose "elongated" arm length so I recommend checking and adding length before cutting if you want it to look like the sample graphic. I also recommend cutting 2 of the front overlay pieces and self-line. Otherwise, the inside keeps flipping out (see photo) and you'll spend all day adjusting it. I plan to fix mine at some point but I'm not looking forward to unpick all those serger seams! |
