| Notes | For this blouse I chose a ‘Jungle leaf’ motiv (matching this mulitcolored fabric, khaki is not as dreary as some seem to fear), this to match the khaki trousers (MDF428 Sorrento Set, a free pattern by Mood: https://www.moodfabrics.com/blog/sorrento-set-free-sewing-pattern/). Made in fine chiffon. As I do not want any visible fusible interfacing, I did line the black chiffon of the collar with a black lining, as I like my cuffs stiff, I did double line them with a sturdy black satin. To be able to make buttonholes in this thin chiffon, I made use of ‘Wash-Away Stabilizer’. In between the front layer and it’s facing I did iron small dots of fusible interfacing where the buttons are placed. I did not alter the pattern, it is fine as it is. |
