Sometimes the illustrated pattern does not do justice to the pattern itself. I love seeing the pattern unfold in real-life people. Case in point is this pattern. I didn't like the illustrated photo, but when I saw this pattern sewn up and shown on a live person, I loved it and ordered it. Great fabric choice!
