Notizen	As I made a ‘China dress’ (Lekala 5964) in this brocade fabric, I wanted to make a set. So I chose for this ‘Leather jacket’. Not an obvious choice, I know, but in my third eye I saw which hacks I could make (and even not so many) to give it a ‘China’ outlook. Therefor I did change the collar to an average one, which meant I had to create an extra small V-shape at the front center, and had to cut out the exzessive neckline. The sleeves are rather ‘pompous’ looking, but I did not want to cut these twice. (The reason is that, by accident, a piece of folded fabric of the arm-skye hit my serger and did cut out some 3 cm of fabric. So I had to cut these even further, therefor these ‘broad’ upper sleeves) I did fully line the jacket: green satin for the inner collar and the body, and as I only had 1 meter of this satin, I made the sleeves in Tassal lining. Made a pleat in the lining at the center back. It went swiftly, if it weren’t for the ‘frog toggle’ closures, it took me hours (even more the frog toggles at the China dress..). I have barely any fingertips left, but I am happy with this jacket.
