Notes	This dress has been percolating for a while. Fabric: charcoal Ponte de Roma from Fabric Wholesale Direct. This is a moderately stretchy fabric. yardage: 1.25 to 1.5 yards. I adjusted the ease by 1.5 inches in the bust and the waist but not the hip to account for using a knit fabric. I added a bit more flare to the skirt The bodice is comfortably fitted. It skims lightly over the hips. Together this works well for my "mom bod." I added side seam pockets which I am happy about. I used a pocket lining fabric because the Ponte is a bit heavy. I expected it wouldn't pull over my head so I put in the zipper as shown. It did not prove to be necessary so I won't do that again if I make this dress with a knit fabric in the future (which I probably will). It's quick and easy, and I can imagine different variants using this pattern so I am likely to use it again. Pictures will be forthcoming when I get around to it.
