笔记 Rayon and Mother of Pearl buttons.

Mods # Removed collar and added a Mandarin collar.
# French seamed the centre back seam for stability and neatness.
# Shortened sleeves and added a shaped, gather peplum.
# Added a narrow waist tie
# Shortened hem to even up.

For some reason, my front gathered skirt panels and back gathered panels were different widths which meant I had to trim quite a bit off the back to match. I have no idea if this was my error or Lekala.

My daughter had worn this dress so many times, The fit is great and she has a large bust for a young girl and this makes her feel pretty without being tight or emphasising her chest.

    Thank you Jane, I agree although the bodice was very shaped so was needed.

    This turned out SO nice! Lekala has "a thing" about putting a seam down the middle of a back. If it's not needed, i.e., if you don't have to put a zipper in, I place the pattern piece on the fold so it's one seamless piece. They also like to call for zippers where they're not needed. The girls are cute, and you can tell Tilly loves the dress.
