Note I made this pattern with a short sleeve from a piece of scrap muslin fabric to a see how it’s fits before cutting from a good piece of fabric. AS can be seen from the photo, the neckline is very pointy at the shoulder neckline seams. I would be interested to see and hear if other sewists experience the same issue and if it’s meant to look like this.

    I like the pointy band, very elegant.
    I wonder if a softer fabric like rayon, would drape or sit flatter.
    I would make this after seeing your photo
