Notizen Unfortunately this pattern did not turn out too well.

- The size turned out way too big (see last pics). I'm not very good at adjusting patterns to my size (that's way I buy them made for my size ;) ), but I tried anyway. I took out 10cm of fabric on each leg, and about 20cm of the waistband. This made the size a lot better, but it turns out it is still a bit too big. When I wear it the way it should, the waistband is too loose. When I lower it more to the hip, so the waistband fits better, the crotch is too low. I could try to make the crotch fit better, but since there are more things not right that cannot be fixed, I decided to stop.
- Because I took out all of the material at the center, the pleats are in the wrong place now, and also the back pockets seems a bit misplaced.
- I don't like that the front pockets show so well through the material.

    Haven't had much luck with pants patterns either, as I need some specific adjustments to the pattern, that are not included in the size charts. I do like your result!

    Hi Newenka, thank you! This was the first time I made trousers, and I learned a lot. The outcome is not what I hoped for, but still the next try should be easier (I hope ;)).

    What a shame that it didn't turn out what you wanted. Making trousers remains a problem for me too. I made pattern 4690 and also made many adjustments and made the pockets smaller afterwards.....the are very great.
    Now I have a good pattern, but it also depends on the fabric used.
