Notes I will definitely be using this pattern again. I used a 100% cotton that had a linen texture to it. I wanted a swim coverup for this summer. It fits over my head, but not over my dress form. I cut two additional pieces of the bust to make it double lined. I added a tiered skirt to this pattern, and yes it’s shorter than the original hem length. The waist inset is 3 times wider than the original pattern too. I had 2.5 yards for this and I used every last little piece and scrap to make it work.

    I didn’t use a zipper. It fits over my head, little tight getting past the bust. I think if I used elastic to gather the bust and stretch it slightly to apply to the inset, it would’ve better next time.
