| Notes | I used heavy cord fabric. For me, the pattern was a bit tricky because it was the first time I have ever sewed a blazer with lapel collar. Further I think one pattern piece is missing (lower back facing). So I cut the back lining longer in order to fill the gap. I also changed the length of the sleeves because 3/4 sleeves would not be appropriate for a winter blazer. But all in all I'm quite satisfied with my sewing project - even if the lapel collar is not perfect. I had some fabric left, so I decided to sew a miniskirt made of the same fabric. Now I can wear the combination of the blazer and skirt as a nice business suit. |
