| ノート | Used Lycra, was what I had for a long time and thought it was suitable for this dress. Installed the zip but removed it because the dress ended up roomy and lycra is stretchy.. Made casing from seam allowance for the elastic band instead of sewing it on as instructed by the pattern - didn't like this style of installing elastic bands, it's not doable with stretchy fabric anyway, and with casing, changing elastic band is much easier when it loses its elasticity. |
