| ノート | Heavily modified pattern. Due to having only one metre of fabric there is no collar, no cap sleeves and I didn't do the wrap as far over into the tab. Once again with Lekala I found the armholes huge and had to draft them to be a lot smaller. The wrap was also very revealing and I had to modify that significantly as well. I chose to use buttons to close in order to eliminate any gaping. Pattern instructions were very confusing. The version I had seemed to require cutting 8 pieces of sleeves and side bodices which I'm sure isn't right. Another version I ran across said only 4. I couldn't find the version again. Fabric is a Lady McElroy cotton lawn from Needlwork Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. I've no idea why my pictures are sideways. That is a pet peeve but my files are correct way up. |
