Notes This was a long-term project. I had to adjust the sleeves many times because I wanted room to move and a little room to shoulder. Apparently, it’s still hard for me to figure out the thickness of my arms with the change in weight. Well, I think the widening of the sleeves was great compared to the fact that there was almost nothing left of the fabric. So I got to think and be creative. ;)
I intentionally made the jacket and skirt separate because I wanted more versatility in the outfit.
I shaped the skirt into an open wrap pattern. I don´t wear a jacket with no pockets where I often hold the phone and keys, especially when I’m in the office. I designed the buttonholes and pocket mouths all by myself. I also sewed a decorative stitch on the hem and side seams.
The fabric is lined with fleece but nonetheless I added a lining because the jacket is easier to put on due to the slippery fabric.
